Started passenger service 1927. Became a division of Colonial Aiways Corporation and merged into AVCO in 1929. The route was operated by both Canadian Colonial Airways and Colonial Airways but in reality, it was one company. In 1939 it was taken over by a group of investors and the name was changed to Colonial Airlines in 1942. Merged into Eastern Airlines in 1956.
